## Terms & Conditions for Use of Masters of Prophecy (“MOP”) Music
### 1. Introduction
These Terms govern your use of any sound recording (“Recording”) and its underlying musical composition (“Composition”) released by the band **Masters of Prophecy** and expressly labelled “Copyright‑Free.” Collectively, they are referred to as “MOP Music.”
By downloading, streaming, synchronizing, or otherwise using MOP Music you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use MOP Music.
### 2. Key Definitions

| **Platform(s)** | Online services designed to host UGC—e.g., YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, X, etc. |
| **Commercial Use** | Any use (a) by a company or organization whose primary activity extends beyond personal content creation, or (b) in paid advertisements, film, TV, apps, games, NFTs, AI datasets, or other products intended to generate revenue beyond standard platform monetization. |
### 3. License Grant (Free Use)
1. **Scope.** Masters of Prophecy grants Independent Creators a **world‑wide, non‑exclusive, revocable, royalty‑free license** to synchronize MOP Music in timed relation with their UGC and to publish such UGC on Platforms.
2. **Monetization.** You may monetize videos or streams containing MOP Music through standard platform programs (e.g., YouTube Partner Program, Twitch Ads) provided you comply with these Terms.
3. **No Ownership.** This license does **not** transfer ownership of MOP Music; it merely permits the uses described here.
### 4. Credit Requirement
Proper credit is mandatory for every use of MOP Music. Place the following (or a close equivalent) in the video/stream description or on‑screen:

If credit fields are unavailable (e.g., live‑stream bio), include at minimum:

### 5. Permitted Types of Content
MOP Music may accompany most creator formats, including but not limited to:
* Vlogs, reviews, unboxings, comedy, fails, DIY, beauty, lifestyle, sports & fitness, gaming, technology, pop‑culture commentary, compilations, educational explainers, etc.
### 6. Usage Restrictions
Masters of Prophecy reserves the right to object to—and require removal of—MOP Music from any content it deems unacceptable, including but not limited to: hate speech, terrorism, illegal activity, sexually explicit material, or training of AI music/generative models.
Additional prohibitions:
1. **Standalone Distribution.** Do **not** upload or stream MOP Music by itself (visualizer, lyric video, music‑only upload, playlist, “lofi stream,” etc.).
2. **Derivative Works.** Do **not** edit, remix, or alter MOP Music in a way that changes its fundamental character without written permission. Timing edits for sync purposes are fine. ([1])
3. **False Attribution.** Do **not** claim authorship, register MOP Music with a PRO, or issue Content ID claims against other lawful users.
4. **Endorsements & Ads.** Brands, businesses, agencies, or anyone producing paid campaigns must obtain a **Commercial License** (see §8).
### 7. Claims & Strikes
MOP Music is released claim‑free for Platform uploads. If you receive a copyright claim:
* First confirm your content uses **only** official Masters of Prophecy tracks.
* If the claim is from a third‑party entity not authorized by Masters of Prophecy (e.g., a fraudulent distributor), notify us via the Claim Form on our site with the claim details.
### 8. Commercial & Other Licensed Uses
For Commercial Use, indie/student films, games, apps, or any exploitation beyond §3, please contact us.
### 9. Intellectual‑Property Reservation
All rights not expressly granted are reserved. In particular, you may not:
* Manufacture or sell MOP Music as physical/digital products.
* Use MOP Music in NFTs, blockchain projects, or AI datasets.
* Exploit MOP Music outside the defined Platforms without a Commercial License.
### 10. Liability & Indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Masters of Prophecy and its members disclaim all warranties (express or implied) and shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of MOP Music. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud or personal injury caused by negligence.
You agree to indemnify and hold Masters of Prophecy harmless from any third‑party claims related to your content’s use of MOP Music.
### 11. Termination & Variation
Masters of Prophecy may modify or terminate this license at any time for cause (e.g., repeated misuse). Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
### 12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio, USA, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
